Mcc Hostel - Celje

The lego-theme room at MCC Hostel was so cool! The modern furnishings and having a shower and washbasin inside the room made it feel really convenient and comfortable. As a bike rider, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring.

While the shared bathroom facilities were clean and accessible, I personally would have preferred having a private bathroom. But hey, that's just my preference, others might still enjoy it!

The atmosphere was amazing, with a vibrant energy and cool drawings throughout the building. The staff was incredibly kind and generous, making us feel warm and welcome. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, though some basic spices could be added. The dorm rooms had comfortable beds and large storage lockers. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the railway and bus station, as well as grocery stores and retail shops. The cafe below the hostel was incredible, with a beautiful concert and a great ambiance. The hostel's location was excellent for visiting the old town, and the staff were always helpful. The recreational/bar area outside and downstairs was very inviting. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the receptionist provided valuable tips. The room, although small, had its own shower, and everything was clean. I would highly recommend this hostel for a one-day trip, with its convenient location, friendly staff, and amazing amenities.

Great location, opposite train and bus station, close to the center. Room had all necessary amenities, a bit cramped. AC was a welcome addition. Vibrant atmosphere, kind staff, spacious kitchen and dorms with comfortable beds and storage lockers. Close to shops. Well-designed interiors by talented artists. Clean common areas and bathrooms. Complimentary wine tasting and breakfast, with helpful staff translating.

The value for money at Mcc was excellent - got a free breakfast surprise! The room wassuper clean and cozy, and the location was perfect, just a short walk to downtown. The staff was friendly and were really nice too help us store our bicycles.

The hostel had a helpful staff member who recommended great restaurants and helped me with bus schedules. the location was perfect, close to the city center and train station. the hostel had a cool design with drawings throughout. the facilities were very clean and the bed was comfortable.

There were noisy guests in the room one night, which disturbed my sleep. the shared toilets were not a problem, but I would have preferred a private one.

my second stay in celje was even better than the first. mcc hostel exceeded my expectations with their helpful and friendly staff, clean facilities, and perfect location near the train station. i was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the shared bathrooms and the room. highly recommended.

Broken shower head holder.

I had a great experience at the hostel. the location was very central, right opposite the bus station and a short walk from the train station. This was perfect for me as I needed to move on to my next destination. the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. I especially loved the excellent shower in my room. the hostel also had nice outdoor spaces and a cozy cafe for breakfast. I also appreciated the fact that they charged me the single rate in a double room, which was very considerate. Cons: No shared toilets in the room, but they were clean and indicated as such on the website.

As young people, we loved the vibrant atmosphere and the kind and generous staff. the spacious kitchen and dorm rooms with comfortable beds and large storage lockers were a plus. the location was perfect, within walking distance to the railway and bus station, as well as grocery stores and retail shops. the private double room with a private shower was great, and we loved the option of having breakfast in the small cafe within the hostel. the terrace outside the cafe offered a lovely view of a small church and park.
